Feel Good Movies/Series to watch when depressed.








The life is not that easy, gloomy and happy for everyone. We live in a world where every one is struggling, hustling their way towards happiness or a sanguine mood. In a life full of work, errands, it's completely okay to pamper yourself, to just crawl in your bed and watch something good, you're your priority anyways, right? Here are some of the recommendations that might help you to came out from a bad mood. The aim is to create a world free of negativity, strong mental health. this is just a small contribution from my side(not even 0.1%) but i might help anyone.


So here are some of my recommendations, It comprises of movies, series or any other content.
I am not reviewing anything or talking details, So please avoid my use of obvious words in the blog.




1)Friends 



Without any guesses, the list can't be started without recommending Friends, the more you watch, the better it gets, it's like a wine but with a hangover that you'll love to get. which character do you relate to most(mine is chandler, if your're interested), do let me know in the comment section. Watch it again with or without your freinds.

2)How I met your mother

 The american sitcom based in 2030 that deals with a father recounting the events that led him to his mother to his son and daughter, it consists of many memorable events and out of sequences episode. This is surely a mood maker series.

3)The big bang theory

An american sitcom created by chuck lorre. It revolves around 5 characters living in california who rents an apartment. It is cleverly written show with proper and well written characters. All the episodes were funny and entertaining and so as the performances.

4)Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump revolves around a character having low IQ but good intentions, that pretty much completes the storyline. It's an inspiring and comedy film that talks about positivity and good deeds. Tom Hanks had given a superb performance.

5)Wake up sid

Another underrated film thats deserves multiple viewing is wake up sid, it revolves around a carefree character that questions his existence and events that turned up transforming him. By the end of the movie you'll be loving the child in you, you'll love Mumbai rains. watch it again.

6)Andaz Apna Apna







Favorite film for any 90's kid, Salman and Aamir khan in top form with various comical characters, almost every scene in the film is humorous and brilliantly enacted. Performances of each character is superlative, the narrative is fantastic. It is often remembered  as the cult of that time.


7)Dil Chahta Hai

Another coming of life cult film of early 20's, Dil chahta hai was one of it's kind film about friendship, love and life. Every song was superbly placed, direction and editing was crisp, the moments were memorable and yes it'll give a lot of nostalgia. It's surely a feel good movie.

8)Brooklyn nine nine



A pure comedy sitcom that has solved the depression of many people(check the forums) and has helped few individuals who wanted to commit suicide. It's one of those rare comedy show which also had great story line and brilliant performances.

9)Two and a half men

It revolves around the story of a writer's life that turns up-down when his younger brother shows up with his son to live with him, it's a brilliantly casted show with talented actors and actresses(also beautiful). There are a lot of funny sequences in each episodes, cleverly written witty dialogues.

10)Atypical

Atypical revolves around an autistic boy who decides to make a girlfriend and his family helps him to make one. It starts from one character then it shifts to focusing the problems of every other characters. It's a feel good show of all sorts.



So, here are some of my recommendations, give it a try and share it to anyone you knew who is having a bad day.
According to a scientific study, movies had help many people who were struggling from depression. This is a small contribution from the blog to make this world a happy place.
